I stumbled upon this quote from Gordon Clay on http://www.menstuff.org/. I will read his work later but for now I want to comment on this great quote. Talk about including all the powerful virtues that a man can represent if he so chooses. We are so conditioned to deny ourselves these glorious powers. Yes I put them all under one word - POWER, as that word is so mis-understood. Most people only acknowledge the abuse of power, which in my judgement is the doing of immature men who are really still boys. The values Gordon speaks of is the stuff of real mature men. Aho Gordon! Thank you and I look forward to exploring his work more.

namaste "when will we stop training him to be otherwise"? I do not know gordon and, like bobby, lion king....I will follow up and discover what I can about him......the virtues he extolls are a lifetime mission statement of work. I understand the word power as the Sanskrit word "siddhi" which has many meanings.....accomplishment, performance, fulfilment, prosperity, luck, the aquisition of magical powers, success personified..it is also another name for SIVA......when I look in the mirror I see a man who is beginning to live in all of the quadrants instead of just the lover which I have been fully living in all of my life.....as a man among men I am manifesting my warrior, magician and king and feeling freer to be myself every moment of everyday......I am actively, consiously reversing my early training which denied my own glorious POWER....."OM NAMAH SIVAYA, I am the light of the world" namaste premanandakumar
